PROJECTS

Bible and Medical Supplies

Highlands Ministry has carried thousands of Bibles into Ecuador over the past seven years. We are preparing to travel further into remote regions of the Andes Mountains where people do not know Jesus Christ. We established a clinic for the people of Quislag to help poor people with basic hygiene and medical aid as we spread the Good News of the Gospel.

Faith Comes by Hearing

Pedro Rodriguez's missionary team is travelling into the Andes Mountain in October carrying audio Bibles in the local dialect. Faith-Comes-By-Hearing ministry has provided the ‘Proclaimer’ for illiterate indigenous people to hear the gospel for the first time in their life in their own language.

Church Building & Water Supply

The ministry has helped build a church for the community in Quislag, Ecuador and currently raising funds to finsih the children's church. The church has changed the community to the glory of God by us fixing the community water supply and by teaching and preaching the gospel by financially supporting the local pastors.

Luke 6:48

They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

The local community built their own church with the kind donations from our supporters in the USA. Many are grateful!

Shoes, Shoes and more Shoes

Many of the local people are unable to provide shoes for their children.  Highlands Ministry has provided hundreds of pairs of shoes for the children in the mountainous region around Quislag, Ecuador. These shoes have been generously donated to the ministry in the U.S.A and carried into the country on mission trips.

1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Matthew 25: 35-40

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[a] you did it to me.’
